The name “Griz” originates from Casagris, the studio that marked the beginning of this entire creative journey. Located in a gray house with striking 1980s architecture in Marília, in the countryside of São Paulo, it was in this space that the first ideas and concepts emerged—later materializing into original furniture and objects.

Founded by designer Vinícius Vieira and architect Myrella Castilho, Griz brings together a range of influences that converge into a balanced and sensitive aesthetic. Each piece developed by the studio reflects this approach, combining functionality, elegance, and a timeless language.
